[00:00:01] Speaker A: Bugs.
[00:00:01] Speaker B: Hey, what's up?
[00:00:02] Speaker A: Bang me with Flash.
[00:00:04] Speaker B: All right, all right. So I thought we'd maybe revisit a couple of boys that we had recently.
It's, you know, you love them. It's fibble thip.
[00:00:14] Speaker A: Fibble thip. Fibble thip.
[00:00:17] Speaker B: This one's a little bit different. This is a little fun one. So Fibbles, if you know, usually incredibly lost little guy.
[00:00:23] Speaker A: Well, yeah, a little homunculus does not know where to go.
[00:00:26] Speaker B: But there's also. Fibblethip knows the way.
[00:00:31] Speaker A: Oh, my.
[00:00:33] Speaker B: This fiddlefip knows exactly where he's going. He's a.
He's like an alternate universe. Fibble tip. And you might be wondering, Bugs, why are we talking about alternate universes? Well, I'm thinking a lot about, like, what could be, what, what has been, what has not been, and the different choices that we make and take that can lead us into being the people that we become.
[00:00:56] Speaker A: Yeah. It's like Fibblethip is choosing his own adventure.
[00:00:59] Speaker B: He truly is choosing his own adventure.
[00:01:02] Speaker A: Yeah. And he's. He's building his own experience as he goes, living his life, going out into the world, being a weird little fucking guy.
This again? Yes. This remains a Fibblethip love podcast.
[00:01:18] Speaker B: This is a Fibblethip love podcast, and I do have one quick other pair to show you. Oh.
[00:01:23] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:01:24] Speaker A: Hit me one more time, baby, if you.
One might say baby.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: One might say go so far.
So this is Yargle, Glutton of Hurborg.
[00:01:38] Speaker A: Naturally. Hi, Yargle. What's up?
[00:01:41] Speaker B: He's a giant frog spirit.
[00:01:44] Speaker C: You can see that.
[00:01:46] Speaker B: Yeah. And this is Yargle, if he chose leg day.
[00:01:51] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, whoa.
That's a whole different Yargle. That's a. That Yargle is juiced to. If.
[00:01:59] Speaker B: If toads had gills, these Yargles have come to Bargle. And speaking of bargaining,
[00:02:08] Speaker A: Yargle has come to Bargle.
That's a crazy frog spirit. And, I mean, there's so. Yeah, this is wild. I. I love this idea of choosing one's own adventure.
I love this idea of building the game as you go. I love kooky monsters and weird things of that nature.
Oh, I think I love tabletop RPGs. Hit the button.
Welcome back.
[00:02:50] Speaker B: Hello.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: Nope, not. That's the other one. This one's Everything is wrestling. I almost did the Wednesday show, and it is with I, Ella Taylor. What with the she and the her pronouns, and, as always, say, hi, Bugs.
[00:03:05] Speaker B: Hi, Bugs.
[00:03:09] Speaker A: Yes. So we are here like. Like, we do Every other week to discuss something, anything relating to the world andor life andor this strange existence. And we relate it to professional wrestling.
[00:03:24] Speaker B: Anything to save away the horrors.
[00:03:26] Speaker A: Anything. Yeah, anything to save away the horrors.
Oh wait, but with the horrors are also grabs. Write that down.
[00:03:34] Speaker B: Oh, oh, oh. Guess we already did.
[00:03:36] Speaker A: Politics is wrestling with Josie. Yeah, we're going to get. Have, have her back.
But today we are not doing politics as wrestling. We are doing tabletop RPGs as wrestling with yet another illustrious transes as we do.
Please welcome Tuesday Studios Vivian Moira Valentine. Hello.
[00:03:57] Speaker C: Hello, welcome.
[00:03:58] Speaker A: Please tell the people who you are, what you do, why we think you're awesome.
[00:04:03] Speaker C: Of course. So as Ella said, I'm Vivian Moira Valentine. She her your third favorite transsexual horror writer.
But I'm actually here today to talk about one of my favorite tabletop games.
[00:04:19] Speaker A: Fantastic. And as far as your other. Your other assertion there, you don't know my life. You might be my second or first.
[00:04:27] Speaker B: Yeah, who's to say? Who's to say?
[00:04:30] Speaker A: What the hell?
[00:04:32] Speaker B: I'm calling jibs on third favorite on this podcast. So like
[00:04:37] Speaker A: yeah, but oh, the bugs. Bugs is like I just always want to be third best.
[00:04:43] Speaker B: Oh yeah, the Minnesotan.
[00:04:45] Speaker A: Say you're Minnesotan too. I was just gonna say it's the. That's why it says Minneapolis baby still.
But yes, you're here to talk about ttrpg because we were like what? I think I live. I forget what it was. I. I don't even know what dip. I'm. I'm. Because I'm. I. At some point I'm gonna just go on Blue sky and be like who's trans and wants to info dump about something?
We're gonna get there. All of us, frankly. Yeah, I was gonna say knowing what we know, that's that Venn diagram's almost a circle.
And, and yeah, sure enough it was like we could talk about how this is wrestling. So what is this that we're talking about, Vivian? Please tell the people about this wonderful thing you brought to our attention.
[00:05:31] Speaker C: All right, so the game specifically I'm talking about is the very carefully named Trinity Continuum Aberrant.
It is a near future superhero game that's actually almost in the present. I'll get into that. It is part of a series of genre adventure games that span a very long time frame starting from the early Iron Age of Greece all the way to a mass effective future.
[00:06:02] Speaker B: So we are fucking sick.
[00:06:04] Speaker C: It's amazing.
It's actually the second edition of an old.
Oh God it's an old game. A game.
The mid to late 90s.
And I am just like forcing myself not to do this math because I was damn near an adult when the first edition came out.
[00:06:22] Speaker B: I was going to say something. I'm going to bite my tongue.
[00:06:25] Speaker A: Then I'm also going to bite my tongue.
I.
I had not yet been forced through my first puberty, so.
Oops.
We're. You're. You're with babies.
[00:06:41] Speaker C: I'm so used to that.
[00:06:46] Speaker B: All right, then I'll say what I was gonna say. I'm from the mid-90s.
[00:06:50] Speaker A: Ah, that's fine.
[00:06:53] Speaker C: I'm going to be 46 next month. All right. I am ancient and trans because I've only. I only came out 10 years ago, so, like, I don't know. I am.
[00:07:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:06] Speaker A: No, Chris, this is why I tell people all the time, I am simultaneously a 13 year old girl, a 24 year old going out on her own, and a 30 year old divorce at the same time.
Fucking sucks and is awesome all at the same time.
[00:07:23] Speaker C: I was talking to. I still have a Facebook thing to keep in touch with. Like some people I used to know and I mentioned like offhand. I joked about having perky tits and great opinions. Sorry.
Some chick I think I went to high school with, I'm still not 100% certain. Said, oh, wow, having perky tits in your 40s is. God, I suppose, like, thanks. I just grew them last year.
[00:07:50] Speaker B: Yeah, these guys are young dog.
[00:07:54] Speaker A: Fantastic.
[00:07:56] Speaker C: I can drink my tits. Can't even vote.
[00:08:01] Speaker B: Okay, okay. But like, I need that in like live, laugh, love font on like a pillow or something.
[00:08:08] Speaker A: Oh, but you know who you're on a phone call with. I can writing it down.
I can make that happen. Right. Right next to the mayor. Right next to the mayor shirts and the fat dyke tank tops.
This is why we have merch stores.
But no, this was awesome. Like, this was not actually the first RPG wrestling thing that I had any experience with.
I used to do like tabletop stuff with friends and it's actually kind of how I got. One of the ways I got into podcasting, we were, we were initially gonna do it Kennedy Cooper, like the first guest that we ever had on this show.
[00:08:49] Speaker B: Oh, yep.
[00:08:51] Speaker A: Yeah. Put a call out on. On the Artist Formerly known as Twitter, when it was still Twitter and was like, who wants to do TTRPGs? And we're gonna do it in like Twitter spaces.
[00:09:05] Speaker B: Oh, my God.
[00:09:06] Speaker A: That was the idea.
And then things happened politically in ways and it just kind of. It became very.
It Became very clear that a bunch of. Of queers hanging out in Twitter spaces being absolute nerds, was going to end in harassment. And. And like. Oh, God, it was just like. No, it's not.
[00:09:35] Speaker B: I miss Twitter spaces so much. That's like a fifth aggression. But like, I used to be such a menace. I would just like get shit faced and open a Twitter space and be like, who wants to come hang out? It's like, you know, 12, like midnight on a Tuesday.
Well, because at that point, I was too big to fail on Twitter.
[00:09:58] Speaker A: Oh, there you go.
[00:09:59] Speaker B: Like, if you. If you with me, you're okay. You wanna. You wanna poke the eye of Sauron dog. Okay.
[00:10:08] Speaker A: I will unleash my army of trannies, of Ponzi.
[00:10:13] Speaker B: My Bungler battalion knows where you are.
[00:10:18] Speaker C: Battalion.
[00:10:19] Speaker B: Holy.
[00:10:21] Speaker A: Now that's a Warhammer 40K Harvey. Okay.
[00:10:24] Speaker B: Oh, my God. Yeah.
Oh, wait, I gotta. I gotta.
Yeah, yeah.
[00:10:31] Speaker A: Opening my app now.
Yeah.
So all that to say we ended up doing like a tabletop rpg, like real play podcast that never got released and never will get released because of all kinds of people who are no longer in any of our lives and sort of thing. But. Oh, yeah, no, but it was super fun. It's how I got my love for making audio dramas that I hope I can continue to do things with soon here. That's.
[00:11:01] Speaker B: Hell yeah.
[00:11:02] Speaker A: A nod wing towards the conversation I may have had earlier today.
You won't be hearing anything about that again for like another like six months. But so I got way into that and like, I got way into just RPGs more in general.
And like, also, as with lots of things, this was also around, like, initial COVID lockdown time. So I was getting back into grabs. I was transing my gender all at the same time.
And like, all these things sure enough fit together.
But one of the cool things was after we got done with this initial game, we started playing other little games just to kind of see if it was fun.
And Kennedy brought one that was. I. Oh, God. I think it is it the what's the not army. It's not Armageddon. What?
It's a. Oh, my God.
[00:11:59] Speaker B: Powered by the Apocalypse.
[00:12:01] Speaker A: Yes. Apocalypse. Yes.
[00:12:02] Speaker B: Okay, thank you.
[00:12:03] Speaker A: So it's a. Yeah, it's a Power by the Apocalypse game. And it was wrestling and I was like, oh, this is so.
Oh, my God, we got to do this. And you got like, you pick your characters and it's like, you pick like, are you face? Are you heel? What? What kind?
Like, all the things that we've talked about like bugs, when I. Our very first episode was just you, me, we're talking about all the flavors of heel. Like a bunch of them are in this book.
Yeah, it was so much fun. And I was just like, how could you do.
This is wild that you could do an RPG wrestling. That was the first time I ever took a.
A beloved wrestling icon and trans their gender.
Yes. As good old gay R as
[00:12:52] Speaker B: I
[00:12:53] Speaker A: was the only one that knew any of the moves. So the. The players would describe what they were trying to do, and then I would call the match because I actually knew what the. They were doing or trying to say that they were doing. And it was so fun. And of course, you know, I'm back on and all that. So, like, you know, it was a good time. And so then you show me this, and I was like, wait, there's.
There's two of them.
[00:13:20] Speaker C: So many wrestling RPGs. It is really how many shots I've seen people take at this ring over the years.
Forever ago now, I'm thinking it might have been all flesh must be eaten. But it was a. The idea was it's kind of like PBTA in that it was like a generic system slot setting specifically focused on zombies. And then they were like, here's different things. You can do that. And one of them specifically was like zombie wrestling.
[00:13:49] Speaker B: Wait, like. Like zombie wrestlers or like you're wrestling? That's.
[00:13:54] Speaker C: I want to say both.
Oh, my God, again, this is like 20 plus years ago.
[00:14:01] Speaker A: That's like intergender wrestling. That's why I'm calling that.
[00:14:04] Speaker B: Yeah, but like. But like hooked out. Like turbo zombie wrestling sounds like full on, like Resident Evil style. Like big, you know, like not just little shamblers.
[00:14:19] Speaker C: Oh, hell yeah.
Absolutely get tired in there.
[00:14:22] Speaker B: We.
[00:14:22] Speaker A: Since we are also doing like a small aside the podcast, it seems like bugs. Write this down.
What if the woman fought and won against both the man and the bear? I just think that, that.
I'm just saying I've seen people wrestle bears. I've seen, you know, people wrestle dudes. And I feel like a woman could do both and win.
[00:14:48] Speaker C: So it's basically brave in the squared circle. I wrestle for my own.
[00:14:55] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:14:56] Speaker C: I'm not gonna subject anyone to that.
[00:15:00] Speaker A: Fantastic. But all right, so what sets this one?
What makes this one different? Sell this one to us and the people.
[00:15:09] Speaker C: So at its core, this is a superhero game.
It is very much a post Watchmen superhero game, obviously, because we're like super post Watchmen by this point. But as of the first edition, when it came out, it was still only like 12 years. Right. So we were still seeing the aftershock. And now we're in the post, post Watchmen era. We're coming back.
Aberrant is taking the idea you're a superhero, but since you're not like Marvel or dc, you can actually change the world.
[00:15:43] Speaker A: Oh, that's amazing.
[00:15:45] Speaker C: No, like, there's a status quo at the start of the game and now it can.
[00:15:50] Speaker B: But there's that, like, it's not illusion of change shit matters.
[00:15:55] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:15:57] Speaker C: Because it's part of this continuum, there is kind of a story arc to it because in the original version, actually, they went backward. So you had the sci fi game, which was set like 200 years from now.
It was originally called Aeon.
And then they got in trouble with MTV because this was 1996 and Aeon Flux was still a thing.
[00:16:16] Speaker B: Oh. Yep.
[00:16:18] Speaker C: So they had to, like, really hurry rename it Trinity. And that's where Trinity continue comes from. Two years later, they came out with Aberrant, which was kind of a prequel.
And then two years after that, you've got Adventure, which is the Pulps, but we're not gonna get into that just yet.
So Aberrant, the idea is you have incredible power. What are you going to do with it? The overall themes of Trinity Continuum are hope, unity, and sacrifice. And different games focus on different ones. Aberrant focuses on the sacrifice part of it.
What are you going to sacrifice to
[00:16:56] Speaker B: be a hero or Peter Parker energy? Very like.
[00:17:02] Speaker C: Or.
[00:17:03] Speaker B: Or.
[00:17:03] Speaker C: But it's also looking at superheroes to look at and critique celebrity culture. And again, this started in 1998. So what are you going to sacrifice for? The fame and the fortune. And then finally, how much of your humanity are you going to sacrifice for power?
[00:17:20] Speaker B: Because hell, yeah.
[00:17:23] Speaker C: The default assumption of Aberrant is that it was going to lead into Aeon.
So in between Aberrant and Aeon, there's a big war. It starts out as a superhero civil war. It ends up becoming superheroes versus everybody on the nations of Earth. And finally, the surviving power said, we will glass the planet if you don't leave.
[00:17:48] Speaker A: Fair?
Fair.
[00:17:50] Speaker C: And the surviving Aberrant said, take it from orbit.
[00:17:53] Speaker A: It's the only way.
[00:17:55] Speaker C: Famously, the leader of the surviving Aberrants vaporized the UN Secretary General and took everybody out in space.
[00:18:04] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:18:06] Speaker C: Rebuilding. Eventually we go into Aeon.
This was kind of unpopular actually, at the time.
[00:18:13] Speaker B: Right.
[00:18:13] Speaker C: Because, I mean, totally cool storyline if you're into it.
[00:18:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:20] Speaker B: Like, it seems like it's a bunch of Things that you need to be like committed to it.
[00:18:26] Speaker C: Right?
[00:18:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:18:27] Speaker C: You don't know anything about Aeon. And you're told, hey, here's all the power you have to save the world. Also, fuck you. You're going Dark Phoenix.
[00:18:38] Speaker A: Oh, shit. Okay.
[00:18:40] Speaker C: It is sick as hell. But it's not necessarily. What so no, that's pretty great.
So this was originally a White Wolf game.
[00:18:47] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:18:48] Speaker C: So the world of Darkness people, which if you know like the reputation White Wolf used to have back in the day.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: Right.
[00:18:57] Speaker C: Like this was before critical role made D and D into the theater kids game. Right?
Wolf armies and nobilis and they had the others.
[00:19:06] Speaker A: Hold on, hold on. Some of us theater kids got done in by the Adventure Zone. Thank you very much. Let's give the Mac boys their due. All right.
[00:19:16] Speaker B: I used to play.
I guess it was Shadowrun. But with theater, with.
[00:19:22] Speaker A: So yeah, yeah, yeah. The allegations are sticking.
[00:19:29] Speaker B: Like I was a theater. Like. Yeah. So there was no hope for me is what I'm trying to say.
[00:19:33] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, exactly. I just need to make the distinction because I'm a little shit anyways. Continue.
[00:19:39] Speaker C: So White Wolf.
I'm not going to get into it. I do have a hideously long blue sky thread where that I'm. I'm not going to say famous for, but semi known for. If I'm known for anything.
One day I just like blue sky famous. One Saturday I was bored. So like off the dome. I spent four hours going through the history of White Wolf game studios. From like.
[00:20:02] Speaker B: Yeah, hey, can we, could we link that in the show notes?
[00:20:05] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:20:08] Speaker C: Fantastic.
[00:20:09] Speaker A: That's the. I feel like that's the kind of thing our trainees, I mean listeners crave.
[00:20:14] Speaker C: 100. Yeah. From 93 to 2000 in 24. And let me reiterate. Off the dome, look up.
[00:20:25] Speaker A: I.
[00:20:25] Speaker C: This has been in the back of my head for two decades.
[00:20:29] Speaker A: Vivian, you were built for this show. You were built for the show.
[00:20:33] Speaker C: Do not ask me to know to tell you a single thing about my job.
Ask me about these dumb monster games.
[00:20:43] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:20:43] Speaker B: That is how I feel about magic gathering today. No. Can I tell you all about the history of Phyrexia? Oh yeah, baby.
[00:20:54] Speaker C: Hell yes.
[00:20:56] Speaker B: But.
[00:20:56] Speaker A: Oh my God.
[00:20:58] Speaker C: So White Wolf has some problems. They eventually evolved.
I I you not Two different Scandinavian video game companies.
[00:21:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:21:16] Speaker C: Rich Thomas, who was the art director of White Wolf forever.
Basically when everyone gets laid off, jumps out. Founds his own gaming studio.
Onyx Path Publications licenses a bunch of World of Darkness stuff from what used to be White Wolf. And outright buys A couple of their properties, including the games that will be repackaged as the Trinity Continuum. Okay, so this is almost two decades later.
They've had a lot of time to think about this specifically. And I'm going to give a shout out to my friend Ian slash Sina Watson. She's bigender, is the creative director for Trinity Continuum and has, like. This has been like, percolating in his head for ever.
How to hand.
[00:22:05] Speaker B: How.
[00:22:06] Speaker A: How.
[00:22:06] Speaker C: How she would do this.
You're going to relaunch it. It's a. It's a bunch of Kickstarters for deluxe editions of the core books and stuff.
I'm gonna pause and ask you to please tell your kitty that I love them.
[00:22:23] Speaker A: Oh, yes, it's. It's Moxley. It's producing.
[00:22:26] Speaker B: Oh, hell yeah.
Yeah.
[00:22:33] Speaker A: Live Moxtax on the new.
[00:22:37] Speaker C: They're going to redo things.
They're going to be a lot less cynical.
[00:22:42] Speaker A: Right.
[00:22:42] Speaker C: Because it was. This was 19. You know, the World of Darkness and their other games, they had a reputation. Right. Hi.
[00:22:51] Speaker B: We are very grim, dark, very.
[00:22:53] Speaker C: We are mad at the government. We are mad at our parents.
[00:22:56] Speaker A: Reality. Guess what? It bites.
[00:22:59] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:22:59] Speaker A: That's why. That's what I've been told.
[00:23:02] Speaker C: Now we're for. But. But. But also, you know, and this is a weird thing, obviously you two don't remember that, but the thing is, we could afford to be upset because things actually look good.
You get what I'm saying? Like, when I was in this.
[00:23:17] Speaker A: I have no idea what you're talking.
[00:23:18] Speaker C: This time period, unleaded gasoline, the basic.
Was less than a dollar a gallon.
[00:23:25] Speaker B: What the hell?
We can.
Yeah. I don't know how much gas costs right now. A lot.
[00:23:34] Speaker C: Obscene. It costs obscene dollars a gallon.
[00:23:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:40] Speaker A: You. 99.
[00:23:43] Speaker B: Gas is no longer free. 99.
[00:23:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: It's.
[00:23:47] Speaker A: Get 99. Yeah.
[00:23:53] Speaker C: You.
[00:23:54] Speaker B: You're not gonna pay me, 99.
[00:23:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:23:58] Speaker B: I want your own viewership. Tell me, 99, can I get that unleaded?
What the.
[00:24:03] Speaker A: Get back here, 99.
Just take it off.
[00:24:10] Speaker C: So, you know, like, obviously, in retrospect and honestly, to anyone who was paying attention, which I was not, because I was a teenager, the chickens were coming home to roost.
[00:24:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:19] Speaker C: And we would enter our. Our current hellscape. But yeah, that.
[00:24:25] Speaker A: I'm more familiar with that back then.
[00:24:28] Speaker C: Like, I'm serious. Because, like two years after that was my first presidential election, and the single issue they were arguing about was what were we going to do with this giant pile of money we found?
That's what 2000 was about
[00:24:48] Speaker B: insane.
What?
[00:24:51] Speaker C: And we've just gone down in the world since. So now, me, laser.
[00:24:56] Speaker A: That's what you.
No, it's not happening.
[00:25:02] Speaker C: So now, okay, things are kind of. We need to dial up the Hopium a little bit. So we're gonna make it a lot more positive.
We are going to be like, you know what?
It. This is a possible future, and if you want to go that route, you can, but you're not locked into it.
[00:25:19] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:25:20] Speaker C: So literally, in the game, there's, like, plenty of advice for. Okay. If you want to do it more. For more 4 color. Here's what you want to do. If you want to go deconstruction, here's what you want to do. Right. You can go Dark Phoenix. You can not worry about it.
Or you can be a pro wrestler.
To drag this back on topic.
[00:25:44] Speaker A: No, if you weren't, I. I already had ways I could. Yeah.
[00:25:49] Speaker B: So.
[00:25:49] Speaker C: So, again, going. Going with the, you know, the critique of celebrity culture.
Pro wrestling has always been part of the game. It's not been, like, a huge thing, but. Yeah, there is. There's always been a surprisingly large overlap between people who are into the world of darkness and White Wolf's other stuff and people who are into pro wrestling. I mean, you might.
[00:26:12] Speaker A: Nerds fought together.
[00:26:13] Speaker C: Yeah, we do. And. And at this time, I don't remember his name, but Gangrel was making.
The fed license his name from White Wolf because it turned out that was their trademark.
[00:26:32] Speaker A: That's.
[00:26:36] Speaker B: That's awesome.
[00:26:39] Speaker A: He was just in Minneapolis, like, a couple of years ago. I literally, like, scooted past him and Effie on the street.
[00:26:45] Speaker B: It was amazing.
[00:26:45] Speaker C: That's great. No, serious. I'm playing no Mercy. For the first time, the White Wolf logo pops up on screen. Like, what the.
Why is this?
[00:26:55] Speaker B: That's why.
[00:26:56] Speaker A: That's there.
That makes sense. Holy. You just solved the puzzle for me.
Yeah.
[00:27:04] Speaker B: See?
[00:27:04] Speaker A: Who says Gen X and Millennial can't get along? What the.
Yeah.
[00:27:11] Speaker C: Bridging the dividend.
[00:27:13] Speaker A: Yeah, we are bridging the divide with weird shit together.
It's. That's what this show's about.
[00:27:20] Speaker B: Basically, we're breaking bread and breaking legs.
[00:27:23] Speaker A: Yeah. As a breaking backs and maybe a swinging neck break, if you will, just to keep it rude.
That's so sick, though.
[00:27:32] Speaker C: Yeah. So the first edition of Aberrant. So the idea is that the superheroes, or they also called them Novas, start appearing in 1998. It's set in 2008.
[00:27:43] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:27:43] Speaker C: As a result of end day,
[00:27:47] Speaker B: the
[00:27:48] Speaker C: WWE has gone under.
Actually, it was WWF, actually, because this was before the end of the lawsuit.
[00:27:57] Speaker A: Oh, my God, I'm so happy.
[00:27:59] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:28:00] Speaker A: I'm so happy. How did Vince end it? Good.
[00:28:03] Speaker C: Like, and basically, they used to go out of business because this. This independent upstart comes in and starts hiring superheroes to wrestle.
[00:28:15] Speaker A: That's amazing. That's fantastic. That's not. That wasn't my question, though. I want to know how he ended it. Because if the Fed went under,
[00:28:27] Speaker C: the supplement that covers that is only 24 pages long. So that.
[00:28:32] Speaker A: Okay, they didn't get it.
[00:28:33] Speaker B: So.
So what I'm hearing is we need to Kickstarter a bunch of, like, microfic for this. Yes.
[00:28:39] Speaker A: There we go.
See, Josie can cover the man. In actuality, we need the weird AO3 writers to do this for me. Okay.
[00:28:47] Speaker C: However, the hilarious part, because I think. I don't think White Wolf actually had a lawyer on retainer.
They literally, like, in the. In the book, they actually, like, they're naming the NWA, they're naming WCW, they're naming WWF, they're naming the McMahons.
[00:29:07] Speaker A: Jeremy.
Just like.
[00:29:12] Speaker B: It doesn't matter.
[00:29:13] Speaker C: It doesn't exist anymore.
So the. The XWF is what replaces the wwe, The Extreme Warfare Federation, because.
[00:29:27] Speaker A: Let's go.
[00:29:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:29:31] Speaker A: You know, it smells crazy and, like, Mountain Dew.
[00:29:36] Speaker B: Bl.
[00:29:38] Speaker C: It's.
[00:29:39] Speaker B: It's complet.
[00:29:39] Speaker C: So, like, they give you, like, a brief bios of, like, everyone on the board of directors who are all fictional people except for the President, who is Nature Boy Ric Flair.
[00:29:53] Speaker A: Okay.
The most important lecture of your lives, you're gonna go all the way back when I still had my fake boy named Garrick, I did an episode about how if Rick Flair ran as a Democrat, he'd switch the South Blue. And I still stand by that.
[00:30:09] Speaker B: I believe that site unseen.
[00:30:13] Speaker A: All right. Anyways. That's wild.
[00:30:16] Speaker C: Yes.
So drawing of him and everything, like, headshot.
[00:30:22] Speaker A: Holy.
[00:30:24] Speaker C: It's like. Yeah. No. No clearances whatsoever. I guarantee it.
[00:30:28] Speaker B: That's good. Good. No. Be. Fly by night. Be Punk as hell.
[00:30:34] Speaker A: Now star going, yes.
[00:30:36] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:30:40] Speaker C: Flash forward 20 years, and they have realized there are things you maybe not want to do if you're gonna make money off this.
So in the new version, there's still Superpower Pro Wrestling, except now it's International Wrestling Entertainment.
[00:31:01] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:31:02] Speaker C: The backstory still. Now we have fictionalized versions of the nwa, wcw, and wwe because no one wants to get their asses sued. But this is just in the books and at your table if you want to say that World Wrestling Entertainment went under because they wouldn't hire superheroes. And someone personally punted Vincent K. McMahon's rapist ass into lower earth orbit. I'm not telling you what to do.
[00:31:31] Speaker B: I.
I want Jimmy Hart to get bitten by a radioactive spider so bad right now.
[00:31:36] Speaker A: Oh, wait, no. I need someone to get bitten by a radioactive Jimmy Hart.
[00:31:42] Speaker B: They just become.
It's like a Venom situation.
[00:31:52] Speaker A: Oh, no, it's like the. It's like the. The bullhorn just comes out of their neck and just start.
[00:31:58] Speaker B: Done.
[00:32:01] Speaker A: That's why I go eat some hearts, baby. Yeah. Yeah.
Oh my God. All right, so write all that down. Bugs again. Yeah, these are all million dooll ideas
[00:32:12] Speaker C: I've been telling you. I. I love this game and I kind of want to run like a regular playing it normal game, but honestly, I really just want to run an NWE campaign because.
Yeah, that's. That's the real.
[00:32:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:29] Speaker B: Okay, wait, wait. Actually I. We briefly talked about this before we started rolling. How does the wrestling mechanically.
[00:32:36] Speaker A: Yes, yes, please.
[00:32:37] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:32:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:39] Speaker B: Because famously. Famously graphs is not good in dnd.
[00:32:44] Speaker C: It is not. As an aside, I do know that one of the programs TTRPGs was during the big D20 boom. So it's like third edition Dungeons and Dragons. And that's.
I don't mean sick positive. I mean that is a sick way to live.
[00:33:02] Speaker A: That sounds really gross to me.
[00:33:04] Speaker B: Absolute sicko.
I want to see how that works for like 10 seconds and then I
[00:33:13] Speaker A: want to watch it. I want to watch other people go through it the way that like I like.
Oddly enough, the way I like watching pro wrestling. I won't watch other people hurt.
[00:33:24] Speaker C: Sure, sure.
[00:33:25] Speaker A: I don't want to hurt you. Take the bump. That's fine.
[00:33:29] Speaker C: Yeah, that makes sense wisely.
The Trinity Continuum system or it is a variant of Onyx Path's in house system, which is the story Path system doesn't really do like quote unquote grappling as a separate system the way a lot of games do.
[00:33:47] Speaker B: It's not like a bespoke feat system. It's kind of just. No.
[00:33:51] Speaker C: So basically for actual combat or really any action, right. It's a. A pretty stripped down. I'm not gonna go into the. Into the weeds because I'm gonna bore everybody. I think.
[00:34:01] Speaker B: Well, I'll be. I'll be locked in. But like that's it, right?
[00:34:04] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:34:04] Speaker C: So D10 based system. So like any. Any white wolf or it's or its progeny, right. You build a dice pool.
You roll so many ten sided dice.
Eight or. Well actually in aberrant to Reflect the fact that you're super. A seven or above is a success.
[00:34:24] Speaker B: Okay, so it's just like a binary success fail with.
[00:34:29] Speaker C: No, no, it's more like.
So actions will have a difficulty and you need so many successes to accomplish them. And then bonus successes can buy, like, extra minutes.
[00:34:39] Speaker A: Maneuvers
[00:34:42] Speaker C: to hit.
If you have a 2 defense, you need 2 successes to hit. And then you spend a success to do damage. And then you can spend more successes if you have more to do things like trick you or disarm you.
[00:34:54] Speaker B: It's like you can kind of start chaining the moves if you get more successes.
[00:34:59] Speaker A: More successes. You can build. You can build a sequence.
[00:35:02] Speaker C: But notoriously. Right.
Combat in RPGs takes forever.
[00:35:09] Speaker B: Yes. Right.
[00:35:10] Speaker C: You're.
[00:35:10] Speaker B: You're.
[00:35:11] Speaker C: If especially at frankly my age, for the amount of time you have to play a session, a standard combat, you're going to get one. Because we want to do other things and I don't have time to run two combats and you still romance your. Your NPCs or whoever. So for the purposes of go shopping, they do a subsystem called the Squared Circle. Guys, of course, it just stripped down. Right. And the idea is there's a couple phases just to kind of simulate the actual, like, narrative element of it before you finally, like, finish off.
Now, the assumption in the. In the first edition, the XWF assumed the. The story lines were works, but the actual fighting was a shoot.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's. That's more fun. Honestly, in my opinion, if I'm gonna run into shoot fighting, because we're already. You already have heat vision.
[00:36:15] Speaker B: Yeah, like, we're not. We don't.
[00:36:16] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:36:16] Speaker C: We don't care that it's really fake.
We're gonna be inside Kayfabe. Also, because again, first edition, a lot more cynical. The XLBF was a lot more sleazy. So the assumption was that like 90% of the wrestlers were jobbers who were like regular people juiced up on super drugs, being fed to your Nova stars.
[00:36:39] Speaker A: So fucking hot.
[00:36:41] Speaker B: Yeah. That's sick.
[00:36:42] Speaker C: As.
[00:36:43] Speaker A: Oh, my God.
[00:36:45] Speaker B: Oh, my God.
[00:36:46] Speaker A: I mean, do it because that's how we're playing this one.
But no, this is a way that it reminds me of love. RBGs. Being wrestling, though, is because you can literally, like, choose to play this in. Like, you could choose to play it in a way that, that best pleases you.
[00:37:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:37:07] Speaker A: And you can choose to view the reality of wrestling in the way that it best pleases your brain.
[00:37:14] Speaker C: That's what I like too.
[00:37:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:37:15] Speaker A: Because when I was growing, when I was growing up. You're, you're describing basically how my brain squared the circle to, so to speak, on, on how it was still real.
Like it was still like they're working it well. It's like, well, no one actually wants to get heard, so they're still pulling their punches, but it's all still real. And they're still actually doing it. Just, they're doing it a way that it doesn't actually injure them, but it still hurts. So it's like it was like video game logic. It's like they have health bars that I can't see and if he suplexes them enough times, he's gonna stay down. You know what I mean? And like that's what 8 year old Ella was like. That makes sense. That's what it is. Yeah. And you know, sure, as far as 38 year old Ella is concerned, that's still what it is. Don't tell me any otherwise.
[00:38:07] Speaker C: It's still real to me.
[00:38:08] Speaker A: Yeah, it's still real to me. Damn it.
[00:38:11] Speaker C: So in the, in the current edition, the nwe, the assumption is that it is, it all works, everyone, if you play it per the book, you, you are playing on that layer where like you're putting on a show again. If I were to run it, that's not how I want to do it because I have other also more ridiculous plans that I'll, I'll bore you with.
However, they also have Nova Combat, which is this like quasi underground UFC style thing again. With superheroes.
[00:38:41] Speaker A: No.
[00:38:42] Speaker B: Hell yeah.
[00:38:43] Speaker A: Okay, so they have divisions.
[00:38:45] Speaker C: It's basically I, I, you not it'.
[00:38:48] Speaker B: Basically.
[00:38:49] Speaker A: Yeah, it's, it's, yeah, it's like a shoot. Yeah. With. Yeah. That's so hot. Oh my God.
[00:38:56] Speaker B: So does that mean there could be a Joe Rogan? There could be Joe Rogan in there.
[00:39:01] Speaker A: Oh, God.
[00:39:03] Speaker B: Probably.
[00:39:04] Speaker A: Oh, superhero Dana White.
Oh my God. Can you imagine? Poor Jake Hager? Jake Hager's both of his eyes would explode now. I'm imagining a homelander slapping the out of that racist. Like that's amazing.
No, I kind of want it now. Make it happen.
[00:39:24] Speaker B: Yeah. No, no.
Yeah.
[00:39:27] Speaker A: All of this rules so hard.
[00:39:29] Speaker C: It does. It is so.
[00:39:31] Speaker A: This is just so great. The ways in which this is grabs are on both. Literally. It's literal. It's just, it's astounding.
[00:39:41] Speaker C: Now to. Let's keep running with this, right? Because I don't, I don't want to just do pro wrestling. Right. We, we're putting on a show. We're having an actual shoot bed. But you know what? You also still want to fight crime, right?
[00:39:58] Speaker B: Of course.
[00:39:59] Speaker C: Bam. We've got you. Because not only are there real super teams out there, and there's heroes who are actually, like, signed on as the legit City Defenders of London and Minneapolis and whatever, we also have the Justice Arrows who are legit luchador superhero vigilantes.
[00:40:25] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:40:27] Speaker C: The most respected of whom is a very large and stylish man, an honorable man named el muerto.
[00:40:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:40:40] Speaker A: Esquire. Okay.
[00:40:41] Speaker C: What I want, like, you're. Yeah. You're like 80% of the time, all we. The most important thing is who's got the 10 pounds of gold, right? You start off as, like, Mid Carters. You work your way up, and in the meantime, there's also other minor crap going on.
[00:40:59] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:40:59] Speaker C: Because why not also stop a bank robbery or fight? Like, there's. There. There are all like, the political, like, in.
[00:41:08] Speaker A: In.
[00:41:09] Speaker C: In the actual, like the. The broader game, right?
You have this. This utopian group called the Aeon Society that, like, ties the whole continuum together. A version of them exists in every game. They're doing their best to make the world a better place. Right? And so for now, they've kind of teamed up with the UN to create this thing called Project Utopia.
So you can work with them and try to, like, fix global. Global warming and solve disasters and stuff like that. There's a group called the Terrigen who are like, no, actually, we're post human and your laws don't apply to us anymore.
Elites who are mercenaries.
You have the Daedalus League who are like, actually, space is really cool. And that's what we care about.
[00:41:51] Speaker A: The post humans. That sounds like what. What normies, as folks, like, think trans people are.
Assuming your flaws don't apply to us.
[00:42:02] Speaker B: Yeah, they only see it through posting.
[00:42:04] Speaker A: We are literally human humans. Yeah. Their laws don't apply to us.
[00:42:08] Speaker C: That's one of. One of my favorite characters is London Bog, who is. Was the city defender of. Of London. Right.
Is a trans woman. Right. When she, like, got super transition. Right? And then. And this is what I. I did not. I forgot this was part of her backstory in 1998 as well. She never reminded me.
Lost her contract as London City Defender because a bunch of terfs found out.
[00:42:41] Speaker A: Oh, my.
[00:42:41] Speaker B: Oh, my.
[00:42:43] Speaker C: And so she went to form the Queer Nova Alliance. You can be part of basically superhero act up.
[00:42:51] Speaker A: All right. Okay. So.
[00:42:52] Speaker B: So sick.
[00:42:55] Speaker A: Look, all right.
Okay, so, you know. All right, Bugs. Bugs. You know how we've been talking about, like, how we need to figure why we constantly. We used to joke about how we have a Patreon, but, like, we don't actually have one.
[00:43:09] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:43:11] Speaker A: So I, I, I feel like, I feel like we kind of need to do this.
I feel like we should do this.
[00:43:19] Speaker B: I think we should do this. We should do this for the Patreon.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: Vivian, where this is how this, this is how this show rolls. We're asking you in the 50th minute of, of recording, do you talk about wanting to run a game? You have at least two.
[00:43:39] Speaker C: I, I am not going to lie to you, because this is how works trying to set up a game in your middle age. This has been 50 minutes of me advertising to run this game for you.
[00:43:51] Speaker B: Yeah, good. Okay, so we're all on the same page.
[00:43:55] Speaker A: Let me, so it's, it's happening. We'll talk about it more.
[00:43:59] Speaker C: Let me, so let me, let me pause a bit now to like, talk about the training continuum as a whole. Right, yes.
Just again, you got right now.
So second edition end day is in, I want to say, 2018. So it's the default setting is two years from now.
And like, you know, everyone's a superhero. Well, that makes kind of sense if you look back 100 years to the 1930s, where the game adventure with an exclamation point is set, which is pulp. Pulp adventure. Right.
[00:44:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:44:34] Speaker C: It kind of makes sense if you, like, suddenly develop the ability to fly and become super strong to put on a mask and fight crime. If, you know, a century ago, there was a dude named Dr. Zorbo menacing the world with his aircraft is his airship Armada.
[00:44:49] Speaker A: Oh, tracks. Yeah, no, see, that makes sense.
[00:44:52] Speaker C: Jump back a generation.
We all love League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Right? They've got that. There's a game.
[00:45:00] Speaker A: Sean Connery, but him, he's a woman. Beard.
[00:45:02] Speaker C: Exactly.
Either is set in Gas Lamp era. We found Nikolai Tesla has discovered a new form of energy.
And also there's a Martian invasion.
[00:45:15] Speaker B: Hell yeah. Oh, so like straight World of the World, War of the Worlds type? Literally.
[00:45:19] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:45:21] Speaker A: It turns out you can, you can run cars on your love for a pigeon.
[00:45:27] Speaker C: Basically, there's.
[00:45:28] Speaker A: That's fantastic.
[00:45:29] Speaker C: Basically, yeah. He's found this, this fascinating new energy with amazing applications in the field of showing those fools at the Academy.
[00:45:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:45:40] Speaker C: Literally every hero and villain Tesla just
[00:45:45] Speaker A: served cunt until all the lights just stayed on.
[00:45:51] Speaker C: Basically every hero and villain of Victorian literature is actually real. Do you want to work with Mina movie Murray and fight monsters? Because you can.
[00:45:59] Speaker A: I do
[00:46:01] Speaker C: again in the Future. There's, there's. We're making first contact with alien civilization. Some peaceful and some not in the 30s. There's also a hidden city of super intelligent gorillas. I want to incorporate all of this into all.
[00:46:17] Speaker A: So yeah, so like all some of
[00:46:20] Speaker C: this stuff will still be hanging around. Because you know what? The NWE is going to do a tour in Guerrilla City. You know what? We're going to set a fucking pay per view in Dracula's flying castle. And you know what? At some point the Chromatics are going to show up early so that you can solve an alien invasion by choke slamming a 7 foot tall bioluminescent lizard frog from space.
[00:46:44] Speaker A: All right, so folks, if you have been waiting for a reason to give three trans people money and. And fund all of us living coming to a patreon near you, whatever the this is.
No, this is fan tastic. I am down.
[00:47:02] Speaker B: Oh my God.
[00:47:04] Speaker A: It's funny because weren't we just talking to Becca about how fun it would be to do like a Muppet style show about an indie wrestling promotion?
[00:47:16] Speaker C: I did just listen to third episode.
[00:47:17] Speaker B: We were.
[00:47:18] Speaker A: And it just.
Yeah, I'm a flail.
[00:47:23] Speaker B: Wait, wait, can I play as a Muppet?
[00:47:27] Speaker C: I can make it happen.
[00:47:29] Speaker A: I think we. There has to be a way to make it happen.
[00:47:31] Speaker C: I can make it happen. You know what I am.
[00:47:33] Speaker A: Look, if you can do this, if you can do that to the thing, if you know his skin just did that. You know like so Bugs just felt it. It just happened.
[00:47:44] Speaker C: Yeah, it happened somehow this.
[00:47:46] Speaker B: I felt that deep in my heart. Yeah.
[00:47:49] Speaker A: The gamer race hit and you just woke up and you felt it and you walked funny. Like you just kind of walked like that.
[00:47:55] Speaker B: Yeah, but. But just turning into Kermit.
[00:48:00] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, exactly.
[00:48:04] Speaker B: That's.
[00:48:05] Speaker A: Even though that might be even funnier is if it's a transformation power.
[00:48:09] Speaker B: Oh yeah,
[00:48:12] Speaker C: absolutely. Do that.
[00:48:13] Speaker B: Okay, hold on.
[00:48:16] Speaker A: We're starting writing notes so. Holy hell. This is awesome. This is absolutely grabs.
Yeah, no, this is so cool. I can't wait to continue working this out.
[00:48:31] Speaker C: At this point I want to say two things.
First is that I am not affiliated anyway with White Wolf Gaming Studio or Onyx Path Production Publications. I am just an excitable nerd. I am doing this for free. This is not sponsored content yet.
[00:48:51] Speaker A: Yeah, no, we. We don't do.
[00:48:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:48:55] Speaker C: No one is. No one is
[00:48:58] Speaker B: yet.
You think a sponsor would touch this?
[00:49:02] Speaker C: Yeah,
[00:49:05] Speaker B: I mean how many times have we said if anyone.
[00:49:08] Speaker C: If anyone would opp. Mike again? No, because I am I am doing this right now for free, telling everyone about my favorite game and I'm about to tell you where to get it. So if you are interested in this. And again, I am not getting a kickback.
[00:49:21] Speaker B: No, this is just for love of the game.
[00:49:23] Speaker C: This is for love of the game. Drive through rpg. You can get just about all of their books on you. Just go. Just go look for Onyx Path Publications and look for Trinity, Continuum and Aberrant and all the other games. They're all available in PDF and print on demand in a couple different formats. So.
[00:49:41] Speaker B: Hell yeah.
I mean like, okay, but like the trans need to evangelize about the nerd that you want to play with everyone. Like.
Yes.
[00:49:52] Speaker A: It's part of what we're here for. Absolutely.
[00:49:55] Speaker B: Why I show Ella magic card. She doesn't even know how to play.
[00:50:00] Speaker C: I mean, look, I've been playing Magic the Gathering since Wrath Cycle. And honestly, based off my win loss record, neither do I.
[00:50:10] Speaker B: No, no. No one knows how to play magic. Let's be real. Let's be real.
[00:50:14] Speaker A: All right, so. Well, let's be real. Like it's like the meme of the. The. The dog wearing like the chef hat or whatever. It's like, I know I'm the dog woman holding the magic cards going, I don't know what the.
[00:50:26] Speaker C: I. I will say, I will say this. I keep hearing about something called the stack, and that does sound more sensible than whatever the we were doing in high school school.
[00:50:34] Speaker B: Damage no longer goes on it really.
[00:50:37] Speaker A: See, y' all are. Y' all are saying words and it's.
[00:50:40] Speaker B: Yeah, damage is not on the stack. Damage hasn't been on the stack for a long time.
[00:50:44] Speaker C: Listen, all I'm. All I'm saying is I knew when they were. When they were both instants and interrupts, and I'm kind of glad they got rid of one of those.
[00:50:51] Speaker B: I am so glad that interrupts don't exist anymore.
[00:50:58] Speaker A: Fantastic.
I don't know what any of that means, but I'm excited.
[00:51:10] Speaker C: It was 20 minute screaming arguments.
[00:51:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, I.
[00:51:16] Speaker C: There are people I will not play tabletop games with anymore. Granted. Also haven't spoken to them in 20 years because one person had the exact same 30 minute, you not red face screaming argument with two different people over the attack of opportunity rules.
And I'm like, can you just buy a core book?
[00:51:39] Speaker B: Just like, just learn, learn, learn how
[00:51:41] Speaker C: it works or like, can you. Can you read. Read the book instead of like, you won't buy a book. So honestly, the rules are whatever the we tell you they are.
[00:51:50] Speaker B: Yeah.
In the book where you're right. Like, show me. Show me where the rules hurt you.
[00:51:57] Speaker A: So this is literally inner. This is. This is the Internet wrestling community. This is wrestling fans describing. It's just. Just screaming and the person's going, I can literally. Can literally make it up. I'm literally making this up.
Oh, that's so awesome. I'm very excited about having been duped into this MLM or timeshare.
Well, whatever has happened, that is not actually.
[00:52:32] Speaker B: It's the cold.
[00:52:32] Speaker A: Oh, sweet.
[00:52:33] Speaker B: I need clearly a cold.
[00:52:35] Speaker A: I needed a new one. Sweet.
Fantastic. This. Does this one feed. Feed people. That'd be cool.
I need. I need one that feeds me.
So like, like, that'll be good.
Speaking of. Yeah. Coming soon. Patreon. But no, this has been fantastic. Thank you so much for joining us and. And selling us on this.
[00:52:57] Speaker C: Thank you so much for literally just randomly inviting me on your podcast. I did. I. How this happened, people. As I post a Blue sky. I'm really good at being on nerd podcast. You should invite me on one. And Ella's like, okay, what you got?
[00:53:11] Speaker A: Yeah, no, this is.
[00:53:12] Speaker B: That's how you get on broadcast.
[00:53:14] Speaker C: 0 exaggeration.
[00:53:15] Speaker B: If you don't have a publicist, this
[00:53:18] Speaker A: is not the first or last time that this. Something like this is going to happen.
[00:53:23] Speaker C: Bugs. You asked if I had a publicist. Right? Okay. So the indie author hustle is not easy and sometimes you just, like, take swings. So I send an email to Charlie Jane Anders because I have a book coming out, and I'm like, let me see if she'll give me a blurb. She won't because she's busy.
No slight on Charlie Jane, who is delightful in this. In the past, literally said that our books are friends. She doesn't know who I am and I appreciate. So she sends me an email saying, hey, can you have my.
[00:53:56] Speaker B: Your.
[00:53:56] Speaker C: Your publicist contact me? And I just want to say, like, babe, I don't think you know who you're talking to.
[00:54:07] Speaker B: Let me. Let me put on a different hat. Hello.
[00:54:10] Speaker A: No, check out. This is my agent.
[00:54:12] Speaker B: Her name's.
[00:54:13] Speaker A: Her name Moxley.
[00:54:15] Speaker B: She's good.
[00:54:16] Speaker A: Yeah. She says, pay mama or I cut you.
And it's not working.
[00:54:23] Speaker C: Do you want my Blohe to email you? Is that where we're at?
[00:54:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
I have a really well loved Gengar Squishable O. Like he might be able to get back to you.
[00:54:37] Speaker C: Amazing Charlie Janey pd Listen this. I really did love the city in the middle of the night
[00:54:44] Speaker B: I was
[00:54:44] Speaker A: going to say, if you're a publicist and listening to this Vivian, tell the people where they can find you if they want to become your publicist or read your things or send you money.
[00:54:56] Speaker C: Hello. So yes, I am primarily online at Blue Sky. Like most of us.
It's vivian actually that BSky Social because I'm not paying for a website.

[00:55:35] Speaker B: Hell yeah.
Hell yeah.
[00:55:37] Speaker A: Hell yes. We got so many X Men transes on the show. I love it.
[00:55:42] Speaker B: Well, we're all X Men, so we.
[00:55:44] Speaker A: Exactly. We're all mutant and proud.
[00:55:46] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:55:46] Speaker C: It's so weird how that appeals to us.
[00:55:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:55:49] Speaker A: Strange. Very strange.
You know, hey, if you can change, why not look like them all the time? Because we shouldn't have to.
Bugs, where can the people find you? Quickly before I get really crazy with it.
[00:56:07] Speaker B: Y' all can find me wherever your finest earbuds are sold. I'm living in your walls. I'm also on Blue sky if you know the name Bugs Matrix anywhere that you can Google that.
[00:56:18] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:56:19] Speaker B: Come around. Yeah, you might be able to find bugs IRL at MagicCon Atlanta in a couple months.
[00:56:27] Speaker A: Oh yes.
[00:56:28] Speaker B: If you see me, say hi. I will maybe have tokens or something. I don't know. I need to figure a bunch of things out between now and then, so I'm not going to over promise anything. Anyway, thank you, Bugs.
[00:56:38] Speaker A: I love you so much. You're the best.
[00:56:41] Speaker B: Fun making a pod with you.

The sex theme from Everything is wrestling. See, I didn't forget. I didn't forget.

Me. It's good. And yeah, thank you for being here. What's the thing that, like, subscribe, Blah, blah, blah. Comment on stuff? I don't know. Heck. Crappy Wednesday.
[00:58:10] Speaker B: That's Crappy Wednesday. That's all that matters. Dog.
[00:58:12] Speaker C: Happy Wednesday.
